Campus Tours

Campus Tours are available to all prospective families in the current admissions season. We believe the best way to get to know our educational philosophy is to see it in action. Group Campus Tours are held on select Tuesdays from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Attending a Campus Tour is not required to apply to Seven Arrows.

Campus Tours for 2019−2020 applicants will be conducted this fall on the following dates:

  • October 9
  • October 23
  • November 13
  • November 27

Relocating families who are unable to attend our Campus Tours will receive a private tour at the time of their Parent Conversation.

To register for a Campus Tour, you will need to fill out an inquiry form to create an online account. This account gives you access to an Admission Portal where you may sign up for a campus tour.

Learning in Action

At Seven Arrows, our curriculum is designed to immerse students into educational themes through hands on, experiential discovery and learning. The themes are integrated into our academics, arts, science, and technology programs to provide a unique continuity and learning experience. Further, we believe that a supportive community is an essential component of a thriving educational environment. As part of the admissions experience, prospective families are invited to witness our students’ learning first hand and experience our connected school culture.

El Día de los Muertos Student Presentations and Street Fiesta

Friday, November 2, 2018
Grades K – 2 Presentations from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.
Street Fiesta from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m.

El Diá de los Muertos is a vibrant holiday that celebrates and honors the dead and our ancestors. At Seven Arrows, El Diá de los Muertos is an annual, school-wide, all-day festival that originates in the classroom with art projects, writing, and poetry. In an integrative effort with the music and dance departments, the Spanish program teaches traditional songs and dances.  On the morning of the festival, our kindergarten, first, and second grade students present their work in an all-school assembly. In the evening, after our third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade presentations, mirroring the way villages in Latin America conduct their festivities, we close the street in front of the school and bring food, music, and dance into the street and invite the community at large. Prospective families may attend either the morning presentations, the street fiesta, or both.

Friday, March 9, 2018
Grades K – 3 Presentations from 8:15 – 10:15 a.m.
Grades 4 – 6 Presentations from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Masquerade is the culminating performance of our Global Cultural History curriculum at each grade level, synthesizing hours of research and evaluation, of choosing a historical figure to emulate, of studying not only the character but also the fashion and art of the day. By preparing for and participating in the Masquerade, students can truly show what they know in a very public way. Prospective families can attend either the morning or evening presentation.

Select Friday mornings at 8:15 a.m.

To experience a Kuyam is to experience the Seven Arrows ethos. Derived from the ancient Chumash word meaning “a place to rest or come together,” the weekly Kuyam is an all-school assembly where students, parents, faculty and staff members, and guests come together as a community to celebrate the creativity and strengths of our students. The Sparrows, our parent band, perform and students present curriculum-based activities.
