Campus Tours

Campus Tours are available to all prospective families in the current admissions season. We believe the best way to get to know our educational philosophy is to see it in action. Group Campus Tours are held on select Tuesdays in the fall from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Attending a Campus Tour is not required to apply to Seven Arrows.

To register for a Campus Tour, you will need to fill out an inquiry form to create an online account. This account gives you access to an Admission Portal where you may sign up for a campus tour. The inquiry form will open for prospective families on Friday, September 1, 2017.

Campus Tours for 2018−2019 applicants will be conducted this fall on the following dates:

  • October 10 (Registration Full)
  • October 17
  • November 14
  • November 28

Relocating families who are unable to attend our Campus Tours will receive a private tour at the time of their Parent Conversation.

Mix and mingle with members of our Seven Arrows community. Chat with current students and parents, alumni families, board members, and members of our administrative team. This is your opportunity to hear directly from our families and friends what makes Seven Arrows special.

Applicants in the current admissions season will be invited to attend after the application deadline.

Learning in Action

At Seven Arrows, our curriculum is designed to immerse students into educational themes through hands on, experiential discovery and learning. The themes are integrated into our academics, arts, science, and technology programs to provide a unique continuity and learning experience. Further, we believe that a supportive community is an essential component of a thriving educational environment. As part of the admissions experience, prospective families are invited to witness our students’ learning first hand and experience our connected school culture.

El Día de Los Muertos Street Fiesta

Friday, November 3, 2017 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

El Diá de los Muertos is a colorful and happy holiday that celebrates and honors the dead and our ancestors. Staying true to how cultural practices unfold in their places of origin is key. For this reason, our street fiesta mirrors the festivities in Latin American neighborhoods: We bring food, music, and dance to the streets and invite the community.

Masquerade
(Grades 4-6)

Friday, March 9, 2018, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Masquerade is the culminating performance of our Global Cultural History curriculum at each grade level, synthesizing hours of research and evaluation, of choosing a historical figure to emulate, of studying not only the character but also the fashion and art of the day. By preparing for and participating in the Masquerade, students can truly show what they know in a very public way.

Contact admissions@sevenarrows.org to attend.

Kuyam

Select Friday mornings at 8:15 a.m.

To experience a Kuyam is to experience the Seven Arrows ethos. Derived from the ancient Chumash word meaning “assembly or time for gathering,” the weekly Kuyam is an all-school assembly where students, parents, faculty and staff members, and guests come together as a community to celebrate the creativity and strengths of our students.  The Sparrows, our parent band, perform and students present curriculum-based activities.
