LET’S GROW TOGETHER
Maintaining a relevant, cutting-edge academic program with a unique curriculum of world culture and the arts is not a task we can do alone. Like most independent schools, we rely heavily upon the generosity of our community to sustain and advance our mission. We could not deliver on the promise of a Seven Arrows education without our parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, and friends of the school.
Because tuition covers only about 80 percent of the school’s annual operating budget, the Annual Giving Campaign is the single most important source of non-tuition income for Seven Arrows. Below are the myriad ways to support our inclusive school community:
Annual Giving Campaign
Annual Giving kicks off in September of each year. Seven Arrows families are asked to contribute $5,000 per child or the amount they can manage. In addition to our budgeted financial goal, we strive for 100% participation in our Annual Giving Campaign. This year, we aim to raise $575,000. Supporting Annual Giving preserves signature environmental and experiential education, world culture and arts programming, and enhancements to our academic program.
This community event takes place in late fall. In the annual Walk-A-Thon, every student participates in raising funds, obtaining sponsors, and tapping into his or her athleticism as an avid runner on the track. Because we believe that teaching children to be philanthropic has significant value, each student is asked to raise a total of $100. We are continually overwhelmed by our students’ commitment to stewardship of their school.
Hosted Events (formerly known as Party Book Parties)
Hosted Events are themed parties given by parents and supporters of our school. Donating a party, an event, or an experience is a great way to bond with others in the Seven Arrows community while supporting our remarkable school. Parents may choose a previously used theme or a new one. Past themes have included Swap Party, Movies and Milkshakes, Family Picnic, and Outdoor Movie Screening.
Growth & Enhancement
The Growth & Enhancement Dinner is a fundraising event for the entire school community. Whether [doesn’t work with “all”]they donate time, talent, or treasure, all are welcome at this festive evening out. Each March, an entrepreneur or a philanthropist is featured as the keynote speaker at this beautiful dinner. All proceeds go to our cutting-edge program and commitment to teaching excellence.
Held annually, the Spring Auction occurs on a May evening. The entire community is invited, and families are asked to solicit at least two items to be auctioned off at our online, silent, or live auction. This festive event includes dinner, a live band, dancing, and the silent and live auctions, and provides an evening of exceptional fun along with a chance to walk away with amazing gift certificates, overseas accommodations and trips, and many other memorable items. All proceeds benefit Seven Arrows’ Tuition Assistance Program. This year, our fundraising goal is $269,000. Support of the Spring Auction helps us maintain our commitment to a diverse school community.
