At Seven Arrows, we don’t just give lip service to community. We engage deeply with one another in classes, in conversations, and outside our school walls. We believe that community shouldn’t stop with the student experience. Our community thrives because everyone is unwaveringly committed to a supportive environment for all of us—an environment where we demonstrate in our words and actions an authentic interest in the welfare of all human beings.
As part of the admissions experience, prospective families are invited to visit Seven Arrows beyond the tour. Please join us for the Wine & Cheese event or a selected Kuyam, our signature Friday-morning all-school assembly. Both are optional, but we encourage you to take a second or third look at our school community and the Seven Arrows Way of Education.
WINE & CHEESE
This event will take place the evening of February 2, 2017. The evening is a great opportunity for prospective families to get a deeper look at and understanding of the Seven Arrows community and curriculum. Families will have an opportunity to meet with and ask questions of current students and parents, alumni families, Board members, and members of our administrative team.
This all-school Friday-morning assembly allows students, parents, faculty and staff members, and guests to come together as a community to share, celebrate, and witness the creativity and strengths of our students. The Parent Band plays a variety of songs, including our school anthem, and students perform poetry readings and character sketches, demonstrate Ethical Leadership projects, and engage in other curriculum-based activities. The goal is to allow everyone to participate in this powerful shared experience and to provide our students with opportunities for leadership, public speaking, and performance.
